Brain and Body Health Inc. is an affiliated nonprofit developing research and education initiatives involving Michigan Cognitive Recovery Center. This connection brings practical questions about residential cognitive care into B&BH’s broader charitable mission.
The residential cognitive-health program within Lakeshore Woods Senior Living is one of the initial locations identified for prospective research collaboration.
The facility formerly known as Fenton Woods is the second location identified in the plan. MCRC can provide the latest information about the location’s development and program availability.
Our proposed contribution includes helping bring together research expertise, develop meaningful outcome measures, and support clear communication of findings. We also want to explore questions that may inform future program development, including oral and gut-health research.
The purpose of evaluation is to learn from the findings. We intend to support reporting that reflects both benefits and limitations.
B&BH’s charitable purpose includes opportunities to work with other programs, researchers, and academic institutions. The MCRC locations are the initial focus of our research planning, rather than the limit of our mission.
For research and education collaboration, contact B&BH. For residential care and admissions, contact MCRC.
Brain & Body Health Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing cognitive-health research, education, outcome evaluation and professional collaboration.
