For Professionals

Help shape thoughtful research in cognitive health

Brain & Body Health Inc. (BBH) welcomes conversations with researchers, academic institutions, clinicians, healthcare professionals, educators and care organizations interested in cognitive health, whole-person approaches and responsible research collaboration.

BBH is developing research and educational initiatives and welcomes qualified collaborators who can help define meaningful questions, appropriate methods and useful outcome measures.

Areas for collaboration

Study design and outcome measurement

Help shape prospective observational research, identify meaningful cognitive, functional, quality-of-life and biological outcomes, and develop analysis approaches suited to the research question and available data.

Research ethics and participant protection

Contribute to study planning that includes appropriate independent IRB or other applicable ethical/institutional review, as required, clear informed consent, privacy protections, transparent communication, and a clear distinction between research participation and ordinary care.

Oral–Systemic–Brain Research

Explore research questions involving oral health, the oral and gut microbiomes, systemic inflammation, metabolic and vascular health, and cognitive function.BBH is interested in responsible collaborations that can evaluate these relationships using appropriate methods, without assuming causality in advance.

Professional and family education

Help translate research findings, limitations and emerging evidence into clear educational resources for families and professionals, including accurate explanations of what is known, what remains uncertain, and what requires further study.

Our proposed research approach

A prospective observational design may serve as a potential starting point for future BBH research initiatives. Final study questions, methods, oversight, outcome measures and participation arrangements will be developed with qualified collaborators and appropriate IRB or other applicable ethical/institutional review, as required, before any study begins.

BBH intends to define outcomes in advance, disclose relevant affiliations and financial interests, and report interpretable findings transparently, whether results are positive, neutral or unfavorable.

International Scientific Advisory Committee

BBH is developing an International Scientific Advisory Committee that will bring together qualified professionals from multiple disciplines and countries. The Committee will provide independent scientific guidance on research priorities, study design, outcome selection, methodology, interpretation of findings and scientific dissemination.

The Committee is advisory. It does not replace an Institutional Review Board (IRB), an ethics committee, treating clinicians or regulatory oversight.
